The Distinguished High School Partners Program ensures that some of the brightest students in Texas can have a high-quality university experience, and that excites us. These partnerships are the next step in strengthening our relationships with area school districts.

Program Overview
- automatic admission for the top 50% of Godley High School graduates
- enhanced scholarships through the President’s Guaranteed Scholarship Program
- application fee waiver for those who may qualify
- individual support from Tarleton team to ensure student success
President’s Guaranteed Scholarship Program
- The President’s Guaranteed Scholarship Program aligns with the 120-year vision of Tarleton’s founder and benefactor to provide a high-quality university education to students who otherwise might not have the chance. Tarleton State University will guarantee scholarship levels to entering first-time freshmen who graduate in the top 50 percent of their high school class.
- Students from a Distinguished High School Partner school are eligible for a larger scholarship award level as indicated in the table below. In order to be considered, students must complete the General Scholarship Application and submit SAT/ACT scores if applicable. Awards will be divided between fall and spring semesters based on full-time enrollment and be renewable for up to 4 years with satisfactory academic progress

- Non-ranking schools will be evaluated on the students GPS and GPA scale as determined by the university
- For students ranked in the 3rd quarter of their graduating high school class, SAT/ACT scores may support admission consideration in individual review
- Private schools that do not use the curriculum listed must meet the requirements of the State of Texas Uniform Admissions Policy
