What is the FAFSA?

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, is a form that can be filled out to receive financial aid from the federal government to help pay for college.

What is an FSA ID?

An FSA ID is your account username and password. The FSA ID allows students and parents to identify themselves electronically to access Federal Student Aid websites. Both the student and their parent(s) must have their own FSA ID. 

Once you have created your FSA ID, it is important that you write it down and store it in a safe place.

What is the TASFA?

The Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) is used by participating institutions of higher education in Texas to collect information to help determine a student's eligibility for state financial aid.

The Johnson County EOC program is Opportunity Resource Services (ORS)’s flagship EOC, originally funded in 2016. The Johnson EOC program is funded to serve at least 1,000 individuals per year. Key partners for the Johnson County EOC program at ORS include Alvarado High School, Cleburne High School, Keene High School, Godley High School, Rio Vista High School, Family Crisis Center, Texas Workforce Solutions, and Sanders Estes unit.
